Industry Workers of Astoria, Unite (For a Drink or Two)

Matthew Callahan

It's official: We love our Industry friends. Not just the bar/restaurant industry, either: Artists, actors, singers, stagehands, voiceover artists, and hospitality workers of every stripe call Astoria home. Hell, most of our servers and bartenders are also in the arts industry. We get it. You get out of work late, and at weird days and times. Your weekend is likely NEVER Saturday/Sunday. And worst of all, brunch is a dirty word— because you're either working the brunch shift, or working the weekend and always missing it.

We're here to change all that. By giving you a red card.

ooh. shiny.

ooh. shiny.

Introducing the Red Card– our exclusive industry VIP rewards card for Arts, Entertainment, and Hospitality industry peeps. Benefits: In addition to our standard VIP Rewards program, you'll unlock access to Industry Happy Hour ($2 off every single drink) every night from midnight - close; and 15% off your check and $9 bottomless* brunch drinks during Snowdonia's Industry Monday Brunch (Mondays from 12pm - 12am).

To receive a Red Card, just bring in your industry pay stub or work ID. Or head-butt an Italian football player. Your choice.

*receive bottomless brunch drinks from 12pm-6pm

Munch Your Way Through the Queens Beer Week 4/20 Munchathon

Matthew Callahan

The borough's first Beer Week is upon us, and since 4/20 happens to coincide, we thought we'd take advantage by offering our patrons an entire day to satiate their, um... munchies. Whether or not you happen to partake in [that thing that makes you really, really want food like now], you're going to want to sample this smorgasbord of sweet, savory, scrumptious snacks. Deep-fried, mac-and-cheese-covered, chocolate-enrobed snacks. </drool.jpg>

The fun starts on April 20th at 4:20pm, and goes until we're forced to throw you out because you ate everything edible in the kitchen. Check out the menu below:

It's Time For Craft Beer To Make House Calls

Matthew Callahan

If you've been to the bar in the past few months, chances are you overheard one of us getting excited about the idea of delivering craft beer. As many of us here at Snowdonia are all too aware, there are some nights where you're too tired/binge-watching True Detective/unable to put on pants, and going out just isn't in the cards. So you get delivery. Awesomesauce, right? Only you don't have any beer in the house. And your love seat is just so comfortable...

You are now in serious luck. Snowdonia is proud to introduce, as of last night, Craft Beer Delivery through delivery.com! Along with our entire dinner menu (including that ridiculous Snowdonia Burger), you can now place orders for 64oz. growlers* of draft beer, or choose from our extensive can selection. Or both.

This is an idea that's very near and dear to our hearts, and as far as we can tell, it makes us the only bar/restaurant in the area to offer personal draft/can beer delivery. For your convenience we're also on Seamless/GrubHub, but they're not too keen on allowing alcohol delivery— so if you want some of that Singlecut Eric Nitro Milk Stout, or some fresh pints of Bell's Two Hearted, hop onto delivery.com now and we'll have it over in a jiffy.

Care to try it out?

*A note on growler delivery: prices online include a $5 bottle deposit for your growler. When you're done with it, simply walk it back to the bar and we'll hand you the 5 bucks, OR just swap it out with our delivery guy on your next delivery.com order. Questions? Call us at 347-730-5783.
